To avoid another chicken curry incident, I cooked up a rice dish for the rest of the week and added sausage, not bothering to cut it up the way I normally would. I told this to Billy and he offered me fifty dollars for the bowl.

I refused.

"Twenty, then!" he yelled.

No deal.

I'm working six days at the warehouse this week for inventory. It's left me a little drained, and I'm hoping to have time for the job search soon. Right now I'm too drained to write, but at the least I'll share a website I learned about from Toucher and Rich, the funniest guys on Boston radio right now.

It's called toplessrobot.com and it's a humor site dedicated to "nerd news."

Check out their lists. Here's one: the top ten star wars toys that look like other celebrities.

I'll pay you a hundred if you make me a batch of purple drank.

Haha glad you're becoming a TARD (Toucher and Rich Disciple)Doug. Now we'll have another thing in common. I'll have to Instant Feedback them more so you can hear my inane comments on the radio. Let me know if you need any in-jokes explained.

Mike --

I've actually been listening for the past year but I'm listening more now because of the longer commute home. Plus, I finally figured out how to wire my stereo for good reception and can listen at home. Who are you on instant feedback?

Jess is also listening because of her commute, so it's funny. A few months ago we didn't listen to the same radio stations but now both listen to Opie and Anthony, followed by NPR, and then Toucher and Rich for the drive home.

Kevin -- I could go for some purple drank. Come out to Townsend and meet the cats!!! Are you on facebook yet? It seems to have supplanted email for me.

P.S. Kevin -- would you shoot me your email addy? Send it to dougsparks at the ole hotmail. I know a filmmaker in Vermont and I think you'd be perfect for the soundtrack on a film he's working on.

Sounds good. My sister used to live in Townsend. Now she lives in Ashburnham, where ufo sightings abound. And J. Geils lives in Groton, where he brews purple drank between gigs.

I have a facebook page that I hardly ever visit. It needs some work, but it serves. I'll seek you out.
